About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, 36th Medical Group, Directorate of Medicine, Medical Operations, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
Duties
Responsible for collecting, entering, and maintaining accurate data in both MEPRS and DMHRSi systems.
Analyze data for accuracy, discrepancies, and trends.
Maintain current knowledge of regulations, directives, manuals, etc., relating to the DOD MEPRS and develops guides for local implementation.
Responsible for ensuring data quality and accuracy in accordance with the applicable DHA guidelines.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a TDY or business travel requirement of 5% of the time to various locations. This may require travel on military aircraft, ships, and vehicles.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
- This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with Army Regulation 40-562, Chapters 3 and 4.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
- Appointment to this position may be subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
- Pre-employment physical required and annually thereafter.
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 1 certification. Failure to obtain this certification within two (2) years of entry on duty may subject the incumbent to adverse action.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes working with expense and human resource database programs related to manpower such as Medical Expense and Performance Reporting system (MEPRS), the Expense Assignment System internet (EAS) and/or Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi); and reviewing, analyzing, and ensuring data is completed, accurate and uploaded to the appropriate system on a monthly basis.
