You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Marine Corps Base, Office of the Director of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.
Duties
You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.
You will prepare briefs on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information to support mission tasks.
You will conduct management evaluation of financial issues raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommend alternatives for corrective action.
You will plan work, set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority of work.
You will support and promote all aspects of The Equal Employment Opportunity Program and Affirmative Action PLan.

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission; and providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
