You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the AIR WING of TRAWING ONE.
Duties
You will approve/disapprove leave, take disciplinary measures, and identify developmental training needs of employees.
You will interview candidates for subordinate positions, recommend hiring, promotions, or reassignments.
You will supervise and oversee the Office Automation clerks in various Air Wing departments.
You will provide and/or arrange needed development and training.
You will manage, supervise, and coordinate the security program.
You will serve as the Command's advisor and direct representative on matters pertaining to the security of classified information.
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty or assignments and the capabilities of employees.
You will develop performance plans, evaluate work performance of subordinates and provide recommended ratings of record.
You will oversee the effectiveness of administrative policies, procedures and regulation for the Command and subordinate commands.
You will coordinate with base and CNATRA PAOs as required on Command and Community public affairs issues.
You will provide staff assistance to operating and management officials.
You will review processes in order to respond to changes in resources and functional program requirements.
You will manage, research, originate, edit, review, and route for signature all department correspondence.
You will draft instruction relative to administrative services functions/responsibilities for application withing the Command.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid STATE driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying evaluative techniques to analyze administrative programs and processes to make recommendations for the achievement of program objectives.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
