You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager in the SSCO Security Cooperation Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF.
Duties
You will analyze needs and synthesize information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning.
You will serve as a key participant in the development of an acquisition strategy that serves as the framework for integrating functional activities essential to the acquisition effort.
You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy and planned progress.
You will identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program and integrate resource requirements and support plans to develop POM and budget inputs.
You will provide management direction to an Integrated Program Team and to all other related personnel regarding program status while maintaining relationships both within the organization and with relevant external groups.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
