Duties

Establish deadlines, priorities, work sequences and plans work assignments based on general work schedules. Determine resource requirements and material necessary to accomplish work. Inspect work to assure that policies, regulations, and equipment are being properly used. Assure that equipment, supplies, and equipment are maintained and properly used. Plan and adjust assignments and methods necessary to accomplish work.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position is a Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as Lautenberg Amendment. This act bans individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and certain others from possession or access to firearms or ammunition.
• This position meets the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening and random testing.
• Physically performs identical efforts as a Nondestructive Tester when conducting radiographic inspections and when instructing new employees in the proper work procedures and instructing current employees in new procedures.
• Must be a certified radiographer at Level 2 certification.

About the Position: The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC's mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position serves as Non-Destructive Tester Supervisor located at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, which is a subordinate installation of JMC.
