This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. Incumbent serves as Director of Educational and Public Programs, William J. Clinton Presidential Library. Under the general supervision of the Library Director, develops, implements and oversees plans, policies, and procedures for all education and public program areas of the Library, including education programming, public programming, and partnership programs.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at a GS-12 level or equivalent. Experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as experience:
Designing and facilitating professional development programs for educators at the K-12 level that includes best practices for integrating primary resources and archival material into classroom instruction; AND
Creating educational curriculum that integrates primary resources and archival materials for students at the K-12 level; AND
Assess learning outcomes and effectiveness of curricula and training programs; AND
Supervising or leading and assisting staff in the development, delivery, and revision of training materials.
Education
Basic Education Requirement:
1. Degree: that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position.
OR
2. Combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above.
Education Requirements: The education generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
