You will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist in the Production Division, Public Works Department Oceana of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will maintain management oversight and be accountable for all shop store and truck stock inventories in accordance with established regulations and procedures.

You will resolve discrepancies with material orders and services received, arranges for rework, replacement, exchange, or return for credit of defective, damaged and/or incorrect material.
You will perform physical inventories, physical location audits, wall-to-wall inventories and re-warehousing.
You will process requisitions to purchase material, supplies and equipment from the General Services Administration (GSA), Fourth Party Logistic (4PL) Store and through GSA 4PL Referral orders.
You will ensure safe handling and adherence to regulatory procedures and policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- A current Forklift Operator License (certification) based on the particular lift trucks that operators use in the workplace is required.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Must be able to successfully complete the following training courses within prescribed timeframe: Forklift training, OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) and Basic First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing automated inventory systems (e.g. Maximo, Inventory Master, Item Master, and Inventory Usage) to complete reorder purchase requests, conduct inventory, and add material to inventory; 2) Resolving discrepancies with material orders and services by arranging for rework or returning credit; 3) Planning, scheduling, fund tracking, and resource leveling to support a variety of facilities' projects.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree
OR
