You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the NAVY SERVICE SUPPORT ADVANCE TRAINING COMMAND (NSSATC) of NETC LEARNING AND TRAINING DEV.
Duties
You will use an automated scheduling software application (e.g., Microsoft Outlook or similar application) to maintain staff appointments or schedules.
You will conduct a study to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative work operations.
You will analyze a program's use of resources to improve administrative operations.
You will coordinate official visits for military officials and civilian dignitaries.
You will brief senior leaders on status and activity of funds.
You will create reports to outline resource management proposals.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining administrative oversight for correspondence, records and files, directives and regulations for an organization; 2) Providing technical and administrative guidance on personnel check in procedures, military personnel, military pay, leave, special programs screenings and overseas/new construction screenings; 3) Compiling and analyzing data to identify trends, deficiencies and accomplishments related to assigned programs; 4) Preparing reports and presenting briefings for senior officials of analysis results for decision making process; and 5) Providing accurate and timely guidance to requests for information from various entities for public affairs issues.
This position requires the ability to type at least 60 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
