You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the ??? ???UNDERSEA WEAPONS DEPARTMENT of the UNDERSEA AND COMBAT SYSTEMS DEPOT DIVISION of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Duties

You will support technical operations relating to evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade of electronic systems You will Assemble equipment in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and detailed instructions, You will Review and identify technical solutions and maintenance standards for support systems and testing. You will Report, analyze, and archive test data in accordance with directive guidance You will troubleshoot through analysis and diagnosis of faults affecting the functional operation of electronic systems and equipment to the component level. You will identify and provide solutions to electronic equipment issues and breakdowns, to include test equipment, and manufactured equipment

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You must be able lift/carry 40 lbs

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic systems to the component level, analyzing test data for process improvements, and developing technical repair procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards. Examples of qualifying experience may include: reviewing test results to identify anomalies and developing resolution guidance; interpreting technical requirements and drawings to develop procedures; assisting in planning modernization projects.
