About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Assist higher level technicians and engineers on projects involving Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and specialized test stands and systems supporting weapon system production. Assist in the performance of systems confidence tests, cyclic in-system instrument calibration, and systems maintenance. Assist in development of plans for test equipment software and/or hardware enhancement projects. Provide technical assistance to personnel engaged in the operation, maintenance, and calibration of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and other special test equipment and systems. Assist in the preparation of technical reports on equipment capabilities and justification for the acquisition or upgrade of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and other special test equipment for Depot applications.
