You will serve as a Technical Data Logistics Management Specialist in the ALRE Tech Data Branch (BL31100) of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Duties

You will analyze logistics procedures to support and sustain aircraft systems products. You will recommend data policy, guidance, format, or standardization of life-cycle technical or product data. You will negotiate strategic or tactical system concerns of logistics support objectives. You will develop technical data processes for an organization You will collaborate with decision makers to identify logistic support requirements.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Leading the planning, coordination, direction, evaluation and implementation of logistical actions in support of projects and programs; 2) Conducting meetings and conferences to exchange information, discuss problems, explain policy, review program status, and make technical decisions and recommendations and involved in daily discussions with NATEC, including QA, FMS, PPD, FOIA, Repository, Distribution, Web Posting resolving issues, providing guidance and obtaining guidance; 3) Screening and providing support for all relevant TPDRs as reported on associated QASRs, monitoring process, resolving issues, follow up for the supported PMA(s); 4) Advising on product and logistics matters, business planning, metrics management, and all other aspects of logistics management within the area of responsibility; 5) Developing, implementing, and making use of techniques necessary to identify and provide timely, accurate responses to customer inquiries related to program needs and resolve conflicts regarding customer requirements, program schedules, and/or policy requirements such as translating the Commander's Intent into the NAWCAD Lakehurst Tech Data environment; 6) Directing, developing, implementing and functioning as part of a logistics management operation.
