This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Office of Presidential Libraries, William J. Clinton Library. This position performs a variety of technical duties in connection with the management of the museum collection, including registration, documentation and digitization of museum objects. Duties also include exhibit work, public outreach and professional support within and outside the department.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-7, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-6 grade level. This experience must be related to the operation or management of a museum. For this position, specialized experience is defined as experience:
Using collections management tools and/or established SOPs or procedures in a museum setting; AND
Assisting in placing objects of historical or cultural significance into physical and/or virtual museum exhibits; AND
Assisting in cataloging, rehousing and/or preserving objects in museum collections.
OR
EDUCATION: One full academic year of graduate level education in a related field. (Related fields of study include art, history, museum studies, scientific subjects, or other courses related to the position to be filled.)
OR
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. Details on combining education and experience are provided in the online questionnaire.
