As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.One vacancy will be filled at one of the duty locations listed on the Additional Information section of this announcement.
Duties
This position is located within the Security and Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH) organization, with managerial authority over his/her assigned Branch. This position supports ASH in accomplishing mission critical responsibilities and key agency goals and objectives by implementing the requirements of the Personnel Security Program.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
- A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.
- Some, all or none of the applicants may be interviewed.

- Selectee will need to have daily access to one of the FAA Regional Office or Center's listed on the announcement.
- This is not a permanent telework position.
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance Required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience: Executing personnel security functions to ensure employee and/or contractor personnel security processes are in compliance with agency standards, processes, and timelines. Reviewing and evaluating personnel security initiation and adjudication functions for compliance with appropriate agency policies, rules, laws, and regulations.
