Duties
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:Assists the Entertainment Complex Manager in the economic and efficient operation of the Entertainment Complex, which includes the Theater and Bowling Center. The Bowling Center includes twelve lanes, pro shop, snack bar, equipment operation, maintenance and repair, and facilities. Theater includes 300-seat capacity, snack bar, equipment operation, maintenance and repair, and facilities. Operates bowling center and theater equipment. Implements higher level directives, recommends procedures and develops programs to ensure high standards of recreational and promotional efforts. Markets, promotes, schedules and manages the conduct of leagues, tournaments, matches, movies and other special events and programs. Researches and utilizes resources for the purchase of supplies, equipment, resale merchandise, and maintenance. Carries out necessary liaison with other staff officials that support Entertainment Complex activities. Responsible for acting on internal and patron problems with minimal adverse impact on functional programs.Assists Manager in planning, organizing work and managing internal resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies. Assists in the preparation of financial plans, budgets, inventories, cost controls, and related records and reports. Reviews the operational and financial status of the assigned activity and recommends changes considered necessary. Reviews, communicates, and implements the internal control system to protect and sustain financial and material assets against unnecessary risks. Trains, schedules work, appraises performance, counsels assigned personnel, and recommends personnel actions. Effectively supports the Marine Corps Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, and ensures compliance with fire, safety, security, and other environmental issues. Assists in the management of new property resources and provides advice on renovations and improvements. Maintains and enforces MCCS policies and security for funds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud, waste and abuse. Must be alert to substance abuse and take appropriate action.May be responsible for the repairs, overhauls and inspection of bowling facility electrical, mechanical and computerized equipment and the setup and operation of 35mm motion picture projecting equipment.Develops and ensure implementation of an activity safety program in accordance with the Station Safety Program. Conducts safety meetings at least quarterly. Advises employees of available safety regulations, instructions, materials and equipment. Promptly reports workplace accidents to the Human Resources Office. Complies with OSHA standards and takes action to correct unsafe or unhealthy working conditions. Ensures employees understand safety infractions that can result in disciplinary actions and follows through with appropriate action. Ensures minimal loss of duty by complying with ¿Return To Work¿ program initiatives and following up on employee wellbeing.Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Experience preferred that demonstrates progressively responsible administrative, financial, professional, technical work involving knowledge and application of bowling, theater management, bowling/theater equipment and facilities, and program activities. Knowledge of NAF policies and procedures preferred. Ability to supervise. Must demonstrate ability to deal effectively with subordinates, supervisory and management officials and patrons. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess valid driver's license and maintain station driving privileges. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
