This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties
Review data to determine if items received are in compliance with policies and procedures.
Conduct physical inventory and maintain stock records.
Analyze and evaluate materials and supplies for maintenance activity.
Utilize various automated systems to obtain data for management to support production lines.
Initiate requisitions to support shop requirements and to replace materials.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- This position meets the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening and random testing.
- This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968. Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a valid, state-issued driver’s license.
Qualifications
About the Position: The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC's mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position serves as Supply Technician located at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, which is a subordinate installation of JMC.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include
Interpreting and applying supply, inventory and requisition policies and procedures;
Receiving materials from various sources;
Reconstructing records for complex supply transactions; and
Compiling and analyzing supply information and data.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-06).
