You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY HAMPTON ROADS.

Duties

You will conduct periodic inspections to assess habitability of assigned spaces, common use areas, custodial and maid services. You will assign housing to military unaccompanied residents (e.g., record applicant information, process forms). You will advise local program participants on administrative practices to inform them of resident relations, occupancy, and maintenance matters. You will determine tenant responsibility for damages to prepare reimbursement vouchers for approval.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide information via telephone, email and in person on a variety of subjects relating to unaccompanied housing for military personnel; 2) Ensure proper record keeping in the Unaccompanied Housing Module (UHM) of enterprise Military Housing (eMH); 3) Coordinate with Facilities Management Specialist (FMS) to ensure timely completion of berthing maintenance projects; AND 4) Inspect rooms for cleanliness, appearance and maintenance discrepancies routinely to determine if procedures are being followed. **NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
