Duties
You will exercise full supervisory responsibility for control over work operations and assigned shop subordinate workers.
You will participate in the development of performance plans, advise employees of performance expectations and provide guidance and direction, continuous feedback on strength and weaknesses.
You will inspect completed work for quality and work order requirements.
You will assign work to individuals and provide technical direction and/or help in accomplishing difficult work steps and processes.
You will establish deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You must successfully complete a forklift operator license course, and obtain and maintain a forklift operator license within 12 months of appointment, if not already licensed.
- This position requires the incumbent to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station. The incumbent may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
- The incumbent is required to work in rotating shifts.
- The incumbent may be required to work overtime.
- The incumbent is required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- The incumbent may be recalled to duty.
- This position requires the incumbent to drive a motor vehicle. The incumbent must possess and maintain the appropriate valid state driver's license and base driving privileges.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Operates forklifts and other commercial equipment to support operations.
- This position may require the incumbent to perform various other work assignments at equal or lesser grade levels as necessary to meet mission requirementss.
Qualifications

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
