Duties

Provides oversight to the Senior Technical Operations Watch Officer (STOWO) team in the Joint Air Traffic Operations Command (JATOC) at the Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCC) who supports the JATOC ATO Watch Officer (AWO), and collaborates with all other JATOC team elements within the FAA ATCSCC Command Center to provide timely, clear and concise information needed for effective management of real-time events.

Requirements

  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Designated or Random Drug Testing required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-K, FG/GS-15. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is: Experience managing and/or leading 24/7 operational teams responsible for real -time oversight and operational status monitoring of NAS facilities and services, to include enterprise service level monitoring, and cyber-security monitoring of the FAA’s Operational IP Network, (NAS critical services network).Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Interview Policy: Some, all or none of the applicants may be interviewed.Security Clearance: Selection and placement are contingent upon waiver or completion of satisfactory security requirement for a critical-sensitive clearance.
