Duties

Serve as Inventory Manager responsible for managing munitions in accordance with the Standard Army Ammunitions System (SAAS). Provide inventory management for US ammunition and guided missiles and large rocket assets in the Pacific, to include directing fills, movement, distribution, and disposal of assigned inventories. Review US Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) requirements for combat load, sustainment load training, war reserve Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET) PACOM exercises. Maintain technical ammunitions files containing identification of munitions and stock, fund items in the SAAS supply system, and establishes and maintains stockage and similar lists. Conduct supply control studies.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with managing munitions in accordance with regulatory guidance; providing inventory management for ammunition and guided missiles and/or large rocket assets; and maintaining ammunition files using automated ammunition systems such as Standard Army Ammunition (SAAS), Munition History Program (MHP), National Level Ammunition Capability (NLAC), and Total Ammunition Management System (TAMIS). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
