Duties
The position's provides a wide variety administrative and clerical support to the CEU Commander/Product Line Manager/FDCC Commanding Officer and other management personnel and in general support of unit operations. Coordinates office procedures for an organization with subordinate units with a mission that impacts a wide variety of field units and mission accomplishment. - This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
- Applicants must be able to type 40 words per minute
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
AT THE GRADE LEVEL GS-07: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 grade level in the Federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include: assuring that background and supporting information is provided in the correspondence package; Maintaining suspense records on correspondence and action documents and follows-up to ensure timely reply or action; Providing assistance to staff to assure that routine responses to public inquires on standard matters are appropriate and in compliance with unit policies and procedures; Maintaining control of action correspondence and perform follow-up action to ensure timely reply/action
