This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room, bar/lounge facility. This position is located at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Brashear Conference and Catering.

Duties

Sets up bar for operation, including garnishes for mixed drinks. Mixes and serves a limited variety of alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks to order, following a variety of established recipes.

Requirements

• Must pass all applicable records and background check.
• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Qualifications

Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures to compute changes and make change quickly and accurately. Must possess working knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures. Must be a mature individual who can exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline as necessary. Must possess working knowledge and skill to mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from a limited bar. A minimum of six months' experience is strongly preferred.
