THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1646P01 and is part of the KS 184 Intelligence Wing, National Guard.

Duties

As SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, GS-0132-13, you will perform specialized intelligence duties as a Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) Unit crew commander, supervises through subordinate leaders or supervisors three or more sections of Intelligence Operations Specialists and to train assigned military unit members in the duties and functions associated with multi-intelligence (multi-INT) Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED) activities. Provides real-time TPED support to National Agencies, Joint Commands, Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs), Air Operations Centers (AOCs), and US and coalition airborne assets in exercises and contingency operations. Ensures real-time and near-real-time multi-INT reporting and analysis by all exploitation sections. Perform other duties as assigned. This position is located in the Intelligence exploitation section at an Air National Guard (ANG) Intelligence unit.

Requirements

• KANSAS NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.
• This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard
• Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
• Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
• Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
• Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
• May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
• Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate Top Secret security clearance within one year of appointment.
• Required to perform shift work and may be required to work uncommon tours on short notice.

Qualifications

Military Grades: O1 through O4 Compatible Military Assignments: 14N GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Experience, education or training developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
