Duties

Serve as the Fleet Management Officer, which provides maintenance support for two Field Artillery Brigades. Plan, coordinate, and direct a variety of work operations of functions in several units. Develop performance standards and evaluates work performance of subordinates. Incorporate business practices, principles and initiatives to improve processes, to promote effectiveness, to improve techniques, and increase employee output and efficiency. Plan and schedule work assignments on a long-range basis for accomplishment within schedules and priorities established by higher level management in field maintenance level work. Assure that appropriate production reports and administrative records are maintained.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The incumbent will be required to obtain a government driver's license.
  • Position may require evening, weekend and/or holiday hours, to include mandatory overtime as mission dictates.
  • Maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.

  • One-year probationary period is required unless previously met the requirements .
