The Crash Data Quality Assurance Division oversees the Office of Data Acquisition’s comprehensive crash data quality assurance program, ensuring the office’s highway safety data collections produce highly consistent, timely, and accurate data.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications.
To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience in organization planning, implementation, and management of comprehensive quality assurance and quality control projects related to crash data.
Experience in leading subordinate staff with budget planning, execution, and management of oversight contractor staff located at widely scattered collection sites across the nation and or within an organization.
Experience on motor vehicle safety standards (FMVSS), basic automotive engineering/design and expertise in standards used for classifying crash (SAE, ANSI D.16) and using medical terminology in hospital emergency rooms and trauma centers (AAAM, HICD), and using these complexities into instructions for field data research.
Experience with communicating, coordinating, and collaborating end use of highway crash data within an Agency and outside organizations on issues related to crash data collections.

Demonstrated knowledge of crash data definitions and an understanding of information available from authoritative sources.
Demonstrated knowledge of crash data collection.
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
