Reduction In Force (RIF): This position will be impacted by a Reduction In Force (RIF) within the next 3-5 years (subject to change), due to closure of the organization. Impacted employees will be assessed for all eligible Reduction In Force (RIF) benefits should that occur.
Duties
Manages and directs an organization responsible for supporting and sustaining a variety of diverse programs and services including direct support to a multi-billion-dollar chemical weapons disposal facility during all life cycle phases.
Forecasts support requirements; maintains long- and short-range calendars to ensure readiness.
Responsible for the planning and execution of all operational, complex technical, and administrative functions of the division managed.
Develops, validates and defends the division’s operating budget.
Exercises first level supervision over the daily activities of a full-time staff assigned to carry out the functions of the work unit.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing and implementing management controls for the receipt, document control, inspection, storage, issue, automated record maintenance, and accountability of supplies; issuing automated record maintenance, and accountability and facilities required to support current and future supply requirements; coordinating supply program management with internal staff and external agencies concerning all matters that affect system wide supply programs; and leading a team to accomplish assigned mission through delegating assignments, supervising, adjusting workloads, and recommending revisions in staffing levels to senior leaders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
