The Advanced Analytics Division provides analytic support to all agency programs concerning crash data analysis to facilitate timely insights through the application of emerging data science techniques, geospatial analyses as well querying and visualization of crash data insights especially from the State Electronic Data Collection (SEDC) program.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience in applying advanced analytical methods in data science to a wide range of data systems to derive crash data insights, spatial analysis of crash data and designing and developing crash data tools and visualizations for insights.
Experience in presenting data reports and recommendations based on the analytical findings.

Demonstrated expertise in directing and managing human resources and working effectively with individuals of various disciplines.
Demonstrated ability to acquire and administer human, financial, material and information technology resources in a manner that maximizes employee potential, and which instills public trust to accomplish organization’s mission.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of advanced data science based analytic methods and practices, including Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, geospatial analysis and data visualizations.
Demonstrated knowledge of agency policy matters, guidelines and priorities.
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.

Education
Basic Requirements:

Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.

Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
