Duties
You will perform a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to: providing receptionist support, maintaining appointment calendars, and serving as civilian administrative liaison to the Human Resources Office (HRO).
You will initiate check in/out sheets to verify security logs and database(s) are updated appropriately.
You will query database(s) to obtain criminal background checks for all personnel accessing the installation.
You will provide support for the vehicle control program. Develop, insert, delete, and revise vehicle and personal data in the computer system.
You will maintain files on physical security violations and verify information retrieved from database(s) to prepare letter citing type of physical security violation for site manager signature.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Composing correspondence with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation while conforming to proper use of formats and procedural requirements; 2) Entering and extracting large quantities of data concerning vehicles and visitor control, retrieving computer program modules, and practicing proper computer log-in and log-off procedures; 3) Determining and adhering to U.S. citizenship requirements for applicants' proof of eligibility to enter a facility; and 4) Demonstrating typing skill which is necessary to complete forms, memoranda, and letters.
A fully qualified typist at 40+ words per minute is required for this position.

Education
In lieu of experience, you may also substitute the following education:
4 years above high school.
This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.
