You will serve as a PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPT,FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will analyze pneumatic systems work in progress to identify actual or potential delays and possible solutions. You will disassemble hydraulic, pneudraulic, pneumatic, and electrical accessories on aircraft. You will troubleshoot pneudraulic systems to determine and isolate malfunctions in assemblies and subassemblies. You will collaborate with others to update pneudraulic systems maintenance manuals and issue new technical directives. You will perform dimensional checks using tools (e.g., micrometers, gauges, scales, dial indicators.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO WORK WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION:1) Overhauling, repairing, modifying, assembling, adjusting and testing unusually complex aircraft accessories relating to hydraulic, pneudraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems. 2) Disassembling, examining, assembling, modifying and repairing assigned hydraulic, pneudraulic, pneumatic and electrical accessories. 3) Performing a variety of maintenance, repair, test, installation and related activities on unusually complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems.4) Training and mentoring other artisans as well as Navy personnel. 5) Utilizing knowledge of installations, operations and requirement of hydraulic, pneudraulic, mechanical and electrical principles.
