About the Position: Serve as a working member of the power plant electrical maintenance crew leading the work of craftsman and trainees engaged in the installation, modification, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of a wide variety of electrical equipment.

Duties

Establish priorities, set sequence of operations, and determine staff, equipment, and materials needed to handle probable workload. Act as temporary power plant Maintenance Manager in the absence of plant supervision. Serves as Electrical point of contact for Electrical portion of Power Review. Test electrical equipment to ensure that the preventive and operating maintenance program meets established standards.

In addition, I have the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain power distribution circuits, control systems, communication systems, and high voltage heavy duty generating and distribution systems. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Occasionally incumbent climbs and works from ladders and scaffolds.
