About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Combat Service and Combat Services Support Readiness and Sustainment (R&S) Directorate. The referral list(s) generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) in Warren, MI.
Duties
Evaluates Logistic status/readiness of assigned system(s) and takes corrective action for existing or foreseen problems.
Facilitate team meetings, set team goals and objectives, develop strategies, evaluate customer needs, reengineer team processes, evaluate customer satisfaction and team performance, develop plans to improve team performance and meet customer needs.
Represent the team with management, higher headquarters, Department of the Army and other customers through meetings, briefings and correspondence.
Assign work, provide technical advice and guidance, review work, evaluate quality and provide training to team members.
Coordinate the activities of a multi-functional team to support new acquisition, sustainment, and repair program requirements.
Oversees the management of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check may be required.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes readiness and supply chain management using automated logistics systems; resolving supply availability problems; developing, analyzing, and conveying major item readiness and supply availability metrics; managing resources; and interpreting, understanding, and applying supply and sustainment policy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12]).
