About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, PEC services Division, located in Camp T J Robinson, AR. Camp Robinson is home to the PEC and its 75-acre campus consisting of 25 buildings and a total staff of approximately 420 military, civilian contractor personnel. We annually provide instruction to over 20,000 members of the military force.

Duties

Serve as a supervisor of a budgetary and administrative team. Manage appropriated budget authority from current year and through cancelling year for the appropriation. Manage budget analysis, financial reviews and accounting reports for all funds.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Serve as organizational lead on managing assigned funding to include committing, obligating, disbursing, withdrawing, and returning funds as needed; manage multiple transaction types and accounts; understand and comply with current year budget guidance; Manage and analyze current yearly budget execution and address funding issues; ensure local leadership understands and complies with current year budget guidance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-11 or equivalent). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget ExecutionBudget Formulation, Justification & PresentationLeadership Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
