About the Position: Position located at US Army Cadet Command, Headquarters, located in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Principal action officer and project leader in the logistics planning development of US Army Cadet Command (USACC) Cadet Summer Training (CST).
Develop concepts, plans, policies and procedures for strategic implementation of CST annually.
Control and manage project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations.
Coordinate with LRC Director, (ASC/AMC) for necessary weapons, tactical assets, maintenance.
Participate in Planning Conferences for exercise development and gathers, input from the exercise planning team on the scope, design, requirements, conditions, objectives, level of participation, and scenario variables.
Create and execute project work plans, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Annual Financial Disclosure (OGE-450) required.
- TDY is required 30% of the time.

Specialized experience is defined as: Providing guidance on logistics to personnel within the organization to comply with regulations and transportation policies; analyzing or coordinating logistics and maintenance requirements for cadet cadre training. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
Education

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree Or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
