Duties

Accept cash, personal checks, credit cards, etc. Prepare, verify and issue change funds as required. Collect cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts and other supporting documentation. Compare register tapes with Daily Activity Report and research any discrepancies, prepare, and maintain cash overage and shortage records for each sales cashier daily. Maintain current dishonored check listing, verify name, mailing address and telephone numbers. Assist in collection of dishonored check payments.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
• This is a flexible position. Flexible positions have no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to work rotating shifts.
• May be exposed to noise, dust, and elements of nature.
• Must be available for MWR wide events to include Freedom Fest, Oktoberfest, Winter Fest, etc.

Qualifications

Basic math skills.
