Duties
You will fabricate from canvas, plastic, or leather by laying out. cutting, and marking; and assembles by stapling, rutting, and/are sewing together, using prints, work orders, patterns, or samples to work from.
You will Inspects items during and after fabrication to see if they conform with dimensions specified in blueprints, programmed prove outs, work
order, and oral instructions.
You will perform highly complex operations.
You will Fabricate, manufacture, modify, and install specialized components for new requirements, systems and/or protype models when a minimum amount of instructions are available.
You will design and fabricate holding fixtures, tools, and jigs necessary in upholsterer work.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to Perform the Duties of the Position without more than Normal Supervision. Sample tasks of the position include: Providing canvas repair and fabrication services in the repair and manufactures of seats, bags, harnesses, straps, camouflage paint patterns and tarpaulins for motor transport, ordnance, engineering and electronic vehicles and equipment; inspecting items during and after fabrication to ensure they confirm with dimensions specified in blue prints, work orders and instructions.
