This position is a Administrative Support Assistant, GS- 0303-6/7 working in Randlett, UT, for the R6-Lower Green River Complex.

Duties
As a Administrative Support Assistant your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Assists with the administrative, fiscal, and support services function for the field office and provides administrative support coordination between the field office, Regional Office, and various state and Federal agencies.
Determines cost structures for procurement and salaries taking into consideration intended usage of funds and purpose of which funds were provided.
Reconciles fiscal reports. Identifies program budget areas, significant deficiencies and areas of imbalance and recommends corrective actions.
Determines appropriate source of supply (i.e., Open market, GSA Supply Schedule, sole source, etc.).Obtains competitive bids when required, and prepares sufficient justification to support any unusual circumstances pertaining to various procurement actions.

In order to qualify for this position, you must possess the Minimum Qualification.
Minimum Qualification [GS-6]
One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility equivalent to grade GS-5 in the Federal service. Experience must include performing administrative functions, e.g., payroll, personnel, travel, and/or correspondence; purchasing supplies, equipment and/or services; assists with general office support services.
Minimum Qualification [GS-7]
One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility equivalent to grade GS-6 in the Federal service. Experience must include performing administrative functions, e.g., payroll, personnel, travel, and/or correspondence; purchasing supplies, equipment and/or services; assists in procurement and contracting procedures; assists in budget preparation; preparing and reviewing travel vouchers; serving as a timekeeper using an automated system; coordinating staff training; maintaining records filing system; communicating effectively with others.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time In Grade Requirement: Applicants must meet both eligibility and qualification requirements for the position of interest by the closing date of the JOA. Specifically,
i. Area of Consideration.
ii. Time-in-grade (TIG) requirements as specified in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F.
iii. Time after competitive appointment as specified in 5 CFR 330.502.
