About the Position: This position is for an Equal Employment Manager GS-0260-12 within USACE Fort Worth District. The Equal Employment Manager has full responsibility for establishing, organizing, directing, and implementing an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program for the Army Corp of Engineers Fort Worth District. Duties

Providing leadership and technical advice to management officials and employees concerning the development and implementation of the District's affirmative action plan, complaint administration and complaint resolution. Develop strategies for eliminating EEO barriers with special attention directed to the solution of complaints. Perform the full range of technical and administrative duties. Resolves staffing complaints and disciplinary problems and recommends actions on more serious cases. Oversee the establishment of numerical goals to correct deficiencies and coordinates activities with other District staff members to obtain a diverse workforce.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent may be subject to a one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel is required occasionally.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
