Duties
- Responsible for the use and maintenance of tools and equipment to include backhoes, air compressors, water diaphragm pumps, etc.; prepares written job plans and/or hazard analyses including updates; interprets, applies, and modifies facility drawings and manufacturer's instructions, including utilization of lockout/tagout procedures.
- Develops and manages fleet maintenance schedules and performs preventive maintenance for all mechanical equipment. Performs mechanical duties maintaining and servicing equipment and vehicles.
- Utilizes a personal computer and various software programs to maintain maintenance schedules and costs. Requisitions equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Operates various equipment to include hoists, industrial tractors, boats, snowplows, large trucks, dump trucks, vehicles, farm-type tractors, backhoe/front end loaders, and related equipment.

Selective Placement Factor: This position requires a current, valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License. Failure to provide proof of such license will cause you to be rated ineligible for this position.

Education
This position does not allow substituting education for experience.
