As a Construction Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of moderate to complex design and construction projects.Location of position: Public Buildings Service (PBS), Design and Construction Division, Philadelphia, PA.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-12 salary range starts at $95,694.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
GS-11 To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience working along-side a higher level analyst in project oversight, design consulting, and construction services for the construction, repair, and alteration of facilities. Such experience must have included the application of project management, construction management, and procurement methods and techniques; inspection of construction and building systems; applying construction and architecture and engineering cost estimating techniques; and interpreting engineering and architectural plans and specifications. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., in a related field such as - architecture, engineering, building construction, or other fields related to the position (transcripts must be provided with application)
GS-12 To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience providing project oversight, design consulting, and construction services for the construction, repair, and alteration of facilities. Such experience must have included the inspection of construction and building systems; cost estimating; and the application of project management and procurement practices to achieve project goals and objectives.
