THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a PROGRAM ANALYST, Position Description Number T5825400 and is part of the KS Joint Forces Headquarters, National Guard.
Duties
As a PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-09, you will plan, analyze and/ or evaluate the effectiveness of line or operating programs. Conduct studies of work processes and procedures. Identify problems, review production standards, and make tentative recommendations for problem resolution. Review reports and studies to ensure that user requirements are met and appropriate rules and regulations are utilized. Evaluate unit and organizational effectiveness. Develop and administer a system of reviews, management controls, evaluations, and checklists designed to ensure conformance with law and regulations. Assist in the development of directives and the design, development, documentation, and implementation of various reporting systems. Develop processes, management, administrative, and technical evaluation plans for implementation by supervisors/managers. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least a GS07. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Must have Knowledge and skills in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to conduct management studies of organizations to identify potential problems in operating procedures and management practices of the activity. Must have knowledge and experience with the following systems: General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFIB), Army Information technology Approval System (ITAS), and the Army Computer Hardware Enterprise Software Installation (CHESS) system.
Physical Demands: The work is primarily sedentary, requiring no special physical demands.
Work Environment: Work is performed in a typical office setting. Occasional travel by any means of govern mentor public transportation may be required.
