About the Position: Serve as Program Manager responsible for leading sustained implementation and quality assurance of the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Project Delivery Business Process (PDBP) for the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division (LRD).

Duties
Serve as subject matter expert (SME) in life-cycle project management, responsible for leading the Program and Project Management (PPM) Community of Practice (CoP), comprised of over 300 multi-disciplinary professionals across seven district offices.
Develop and implement regional standard business processes and procedures for the PPM-CoP.
Provide training and support to leadership, program/project managers, schedulers, analysts and cross-functional teams aimed to improve skills and applied knowledge of project management processes and automated information system (AIS) tools.
Support district development, review and approval of project management plans, risk assessments, resource-loaded schedules and other PPM-related products and deliverables to ensure consistent quality in accordance with PDBP and regional standards.
Serve as an LRD representative on the National PPM-CoP Steering Committee and serves to leads implementation of PPM CoP improvement initiatives across the region.

- Incumbent must have or be able to obtain and maintain Project Management (PM) Certification.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes developing standard business process and tools that help enable successful project delivery; performing quality assurance of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Project Delivery Business Process (PDBP); and advising leadership of risks and lessons learned to inform decisions impacting program execution and project delivery
