This position is located within the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Utilities and Power Plant Operations.  The High Voltage Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining high voltage electric power-controlling equipment and/or distribution lines. The ability to work on a rotating shift will be required. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of industrial and high voltage substation experience with an electrical master's license.

Duties

Leverage your knowledge and experience as an electrician in this position, within AOC's Utilities and Power Plant Operations, Electrical Branch. The Capitol Power Plant is a key component to AOC's operations. The plant operates around the clock, 7 days a week, therefore, shift work will be required.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • You must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Your resume and question responses must demonstrate job-related elements.
