You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL/OA) in the Marine Corps Recruiting Command of 1ST MARINE CORPS.

Duties
You will independently develop case files and maintain an active and computerized personnel file system for officer candidates.
You will assist with the accounting and management of the officer selection team marketing budget.
You will collect and maintain all required documents essential to maintain pay records.
You will initiate and coordinate the security clearances of officer candidates.
You will prepare request for appointments packages.
You will develop and prepare all officer selection team official correspondence, lists, vouchers, medical documents, reports and memoranda.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing clerical support such as administering background screening, reviewing documents, and/or processing applicant packages for commissioning programs (e.g. Marine Corps Officer Programs - the Platoon Leaders Class (PLC), the Officer Candidates Class (OCC), or similar programs).
