You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the FIRE PROTECTION/PREVENTION BRANCH of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.
Duties
You will plan, develop and implement a comprehensive Emergency Medical Service program.
You will coordinate and manage EMS programs such as Quality Improvement, Infection Control, Equipment Maintenance, Public Relations, Department representative, Multi-Casualty Field Operations, Emergency Operations and Medical Disaster.
You will provide the full range of administrative and supervisory duties including: work planning, assignment and review.
You will respond to all emergencies deemed necessary to include medical, mass casualty, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and enhanced improvised explosives (CBRN-e), structural fires, structural collapses, tactical and water rescues.
You will review Patient care Reports for accuracy, pertinent and required information, quality and compliance with established procedures.
You supervise and submit the input data into the National Fire Incident Reporting System and the Virginia Department of EMS Data Collection System.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

- You will be required to possess a current Firefighter II certification.
- You will be required to possess a current Incident Safety Officer certification.

- This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to possess current National Registry Paramedic and State reciprocal to Virginia Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- You must have reached your 18th birthday prior to appointment.
- You will be required to possess a current National Incident Management System certifications (NIMS): IS-100, IS-200, IS700, IS-800 IAW Presidential Directive 5.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: directing administrative, financial management, and/or complex technical Fire ground operations to carry out the workforce mission of a Fire programs; and providing assistance, advice, and recommendations concerning fire protection matters to organizational leadership.
