This position is located on Fort Simcoe Job Corps Center in White Swan, WA.
The incumbent is responsible for performing duties as a Training Leader for the vocation skills training program, as well as performing a variety of repair and maintenance duties for the Center fleet vehicles and equipment.

Duties
Training Leader for the vocation skills training program.
Repair and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment.
Implements, monitors, and explains proper technical and trade techniques, procedures, methods, and processes.
Instructs students in the use of shop machinery and life equipment and develops student knowledge and skill in the use of various automotive repair parts manuals, proper use of mechanical tools. Uses a variety of testing equipment.
Cleans, repairs, or replaces defective parts using a variety of test equipment.
Uses a variety of test equipment to determine defective parts and repairs required.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.
- Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- Successful completion of one-year probationary period, unless previously served.
- Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.

- This is a Test Designated Position. You will be tested for illegal drugs prior to appointment and randomly thereafter.

Qualifications
