As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Responsible for providing strategic and operational support for the talent and leadership development priorities within the Office of the Chief Counsel (AGC).

Duties

Directs the work of a team and has full responsibility for directing tasks and responsibilities, and for balancing the workload assigned to employees on the Training and Development Team within the Office of the Chief Counsel, Operations Division (AGC-10). Exercises latitude to take initiative, organize work flow, establish priorities, and exercise professional judgment. Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Requirement for Managerial Probationary Period: Unless previously completed, selectee must satisfactorily complete a 1-year probationary period to remain in this managerial position.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE equivalent to the next lower grade/pay band (FG/GS-13 or FV-I) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as:Experience with instructional design, implementing and managing a comprehensive professional training and development program andExperience with conducting needs assessments, evaluating training and developmental programs; and analyzing assessment data.Answer all questions to the best of your ability.
