This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U. S. Coast Guard, Operational Logistics Command, Office of Base Operations, Base Detachment St. Louis, Industrial Production Detachment, in St. Louis, MO.
Duties
The selectee will serve as a Carpenter Worker responsible for performing a variety of work in the construction, altering and repairing of building structures, fittings, panels, partitions and other wood or wood substitute articles; making repairs to damaged plastic boat hulls by preparing/applying fiberglass patches to restore original contour and strength; and planning and completing projects from initial layout to final assemble or installation.

- The position requires a valid state driver's license.
- Applicant is required to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
