Duties
You will provide operations analysis, cost analysis, and strategic resource assessment to support the development of the Marine Corps Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
You will determine the best approach or solution for resolving budget and personnel shortages.
You will determine the approaches to be followed, the assumptions and criteria for evaluating options, and organizes problems so that concepts and methods of operations research, statistics, or other quantitative methods can be applied to them.
You will maintain program and administrative reference materials, project files and relevant background documents and makes available policies, procedures and makes available policies, procedures and written instructions.
You will appraise program including but not limited to manpower availability; training and operations support; supply, production and maintenance capacity; physical security; installation facility sustainment, etc.
You will develop statical, cost, operations research and analytical concepts and models to more effectively assess requirements, capabilities, resource, and alternatives.

Qualifications
GS-14
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Serving as a professional (Operations Research Analyst) providing operations research analysis such as cost analysis and strategic resource assessments.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Allocating as a professional (Operations Research Analyst) operations research analysis such as cost analysis and strategic resource assessments; conducting and directing analyses of specialized programs or projects which scope change of long-range planning and formulation.

Education
Basic Requirements:
Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
