This position is located in the Office of Secure Transportation, Office of Technical Services (OTS), Safety and Security Division (SSD), Testing and Analysis Branch (TAB), and serves as a Security Specialist in support of the OST mission. You will lead vulnerability assessment activities utilizing Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) vulnerability assessment techniques, principles, and procedures.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-02, NV-03, or
GS-12. Specialized experience in executing key principles of the Office of Secure Transportation Active Security Program and Federal Agent convoy operations to safely and securely transport nuclear materials; assessing Federal Agent operations utilizing the Federal Agent Standard Operating Procedure and Mission Essential Task List; and utilizing vulnerability assessment principles, methods, tools, and techniques to develop and analyze key security elements associated with the Transportation Safeguards System.
Must have 3 years previous experience in a primary position as a Nuclear Materials Courier.
Examples of Specialized Experience:
Assessing Federal Agent operations utilizing the Federal Agent Standard Operating Procedure and Mission Essential Task List
Executing key principles of the Office of Secure Transportation Active Security Program and Federal Agent convoy operations to safely and securely transport nuclear materials
Utilizing vulnerability assessment principles, methods, tools, and techniques to develop and analyze key security elements associated with the Transportation Safeguards System.
