This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Temp/Term Appt. Authority to Meet Critical Hiring Needs to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This Logistics Management Specialist position is located at 1st Armored Div. Senior CDR Aug, G-4 Logistics with duty location of Fort Bliss, TX.
Duties
Serves as a Logistics Planner and technical logistics expert for the 1st Armored Division G4 Contract Acquisition Review Board (CARB) program.
Oversees procurement actions in Government authorized systems, to include outbound military interdepartmental purchase requisitions (MIPRs), contracts, and purchase requisitions in General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.
- May be required to work overtime hours.

Your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience involves coordinating logistical support by assisting in developing plans, providing technical guidance, supply management, property accountability and/or equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower level/grade position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Successfully complete a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Logistics Management, Materials Movement, Supply Chain and/or Property Management, and Management Information System.
