Duties

This position allows you to use your knowledge and experience performing a full range of administrative, research and analytical duties sensitive in nature and special assignments related to the missions and functions of the office. This position starts at a salary of $86,962.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $134,435.00 (GS-13, Step 10). GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area. The Management and Program Analyst serves as a senior analyst and/or advisor and develop policies, conduct special studies, and provide technical advice and assistance. Typical work assignments include: Serving as a liaison in an advisory role on all disciplinary cases to direct sector and station managers and supervisors Conducting briefings on disciplinary cases containing sensitive information in nature, special projects, and sensitive program issues Analyzing internal policies, procedures, and management processes, coordinating with internal and external components, performing extensive research and preparing sensitive reports Advising management of timelines; ensuring time sensitive cases are met, providing in-depth knowledge of cases presented to management and deciding officials.

Qualifications

Experience: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Drafting disciplinary decision letters based on labor relations policies Developing, implementing, and updating databases, which tracks all labor and employee cases Communicating current and past practices on matters related to disciplinary cases to management officials Preparing comments, impact statements, and recommendations for managerial consideration on case files reviewed Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Providing advisory and representative support on past practices, policies, and procedures related to LER Tracking all disciplinary cases to determine the focus on long- and short-range disciplinary actions Preparing sensitive and confidential responses and reports on work activities requiring research, recommendations, and conclusions. Managing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of the disciplinary program and to analyze and gather sensitive confidential information regarding cases NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
